Role Overview

We are looking for a Founding CTO to build the technical foundation of FredGPT, a psychiatric grade AI system designed to help users break self sabotaging patterns and rebuild their emotional, financial, and behavioral lives. This is not just a job. It is a chance to create the most emotionally intelligent AI system ever built.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and lead the full technical roadmap
  • Build a memory first system that evolves with each user
  • Integrate personalization, behavior modeling, and structured decision logic
  • Partner directly with the founder and head of product to align vision and execution
  • Develop a working MVP and prepare for growth
  • Hire and lead engineering talent over time

Requirements

  • Strong experience in system architecture, backend engineering, or applied AI
  • Familiarity with LLM systems or personalization engines
  • Track record of building early stage products
  • Passion for mental health, human behavior, or emotional tech
  • Desire to be a true cofounder, not just a technical lead
