About AlchemyK12
AlchemyK12 helps K-12 EdTech companies scale personalized sales across more than 13,000 US school districts. We combine "Product DNA" (what companies sell) with "District DNA" (performance data, demographics, challenges) to automatically generate district-specific sales playbooks. Sales reps get stakeholder talking points, product fit analysis, objection handling, and comparative data—all customized to each district's needs. We have paying customers and a working MVP. Now we need to scale from prototype to production platform.
Note: we have the chance to get the next phase of our development subsidized by AWS with an AWS Premiere Partner. We would look for you to be making sure that team is building aligned to our vision and ships the right platform within scope, budget, timeframe. We want you to be our tech decision-maker and partner for the longterm!
What You'll Do
- Architect the platform: Design and build production-grade B2B SaaS from our MVP
- Own all technical decisions: Choose tech stack, infrastructure, development practices
- Build the product: Full-stack development (React frontend, PostgreSQL databases via RDS, Redis clusters via ElastiCache, S3, ECS)
- Scale the system: Clean and ingest qualitative and quantitative data for 13,000+ districts
- Build the team: Hire and lead engineering team as we grow
- Shape the vision: Partner with non-technical founder to define product roadmap
What We're Looking For
Must Have:
- Full-stack development experience (7+ years preferred)
- Experience building matching systems
- Experience with AI/LLM integration
- Experience building and deploying production SaaS applications
- Strong system architecture and database design skills
- Comfortable working with large datasets
- Self-starter who thrives in early-stage ambiguity
Nice to Have:
- B2B SaaS (or EdTech data background a plus)
